Named after its location on the Santa Ana River, Riverside is the largest city in the Los Angeles metropolitan area with a population of over 300,000 people. Founded in the early 1870s, it has developed into one of the largest suburban areas in Southern California, with its reputation exceeding way beyond its demographics.
