About Me
I am a nerd's nerd. I love knowledge and learning, and I want to help find the ways that will make learning fun for you. I will do my best to speak your language and work to achieve YOUR goals. You are probably already better than you think, I will help you recognize that and then use that energy to keep you improving!
Education
I have a BS in accounting and was a CPA for 12+ years before leaving the field. I have been an artist for 5+ years I am a trained comedian and improvisor and generally curious person.
Teaching Experience
I have taught many professional workshops on various topics for my entire career. Throughout that time I have also spent time tutoring students for the GED and various other topics. I am currently an artist instructor at an arts high school and am teaching young people every day and thriving.
Interests
When I am not teaching I am working hard at being a comedian. I do improv, stand up, and write/perform sketch comedy. I am also an avid history and politics nerd with a huge soft spot for science and science fiction.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
