About Me
I am a Deaf individual who uses ASL as the primary communication mode. The way I will interact with students who are non-ASL users is by writing, demonstrating, and gestures. I am open to any ways of communication that creates the best learning experience for you, just not through speaking.
Education
I recently graduated from Gallaudet University with Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Secondary Education.
Teaching Experience
I have a range of experience with tutoring & teaching. It all started as a peer mentor in high school, which brought to me the passion to teach high school math. I tutored during my year at Gallaudet University for almost all math courses. As a part of my education major requirements, I conducted my practicum and student teaching internship, where I taught middle and high school students.
Interests
As a DC resident, I enjoy attending to the many costless opportunities that are provided by the city- museums, entry at Capitol and Supreme Court, and so many more. I also like to try new food/coffee, spending quality time with my loved ones, swim, fish, hike, and many more.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
