About Me
I am originally from Dayton, Ohio, but I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. I am the oldest of six siblings: three sisters and three brothers. In my free time, I enjoy trying new teas and restaurants, roller skating, painting, and going to farmer markets on the weekends.
Education
I have a Bachelor's of Arts in English and a minor in Education. I am currently finishing my second to last semester of my Master's of Arts in Composition, Rhetoric, and Digital Media.
Teaching Experience
I have 4+ years of experience assisting students with their writing concerns. I have worked in Writing Centers at my institutions; and I have collaborated Composition instructors to teach their students how to use their writing abilities to effectively communicate to diverse audiences.
Interests
In my free time, I like to write for my newsletter, Adara Affirms, which is a collection of journals that inspire young women to walk into their own healing and growth. I also create videos that encourage women to love on themselves as well. Outside of my business/ healing community, I like to roller skate, go to coffee shops, try new restaurants, and painting.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
