About Me
I would love my students to know that I completely understand how tough learning can be and also how sometimes boring the days can be after hours of listening to a teacher. I strive to make learning fun and use a creative "think outside of the box approach". For example, I have taught equilateral triangles using playdough, fractions using dominoes, and spelling using the game Boggle, just to name a few. At the end of the day, these students are young and if they can have fun while learning and using their minds, then let's do it!
Education
I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors's Degree in Psychology and Sociology. I also have an Associates's Degree from Broward College.
Teaching Experience
I have been tutoring for more than 12 years now. I have tutored privately and also have worked as a tutor for students who were part of the Foster Care System. I was a Preschool Teacher for ADHD 2-year-olds at Kids in DWistress.
Interests
When I am not working I enjoy doing arts and crafts, swimming, and spending time with friends.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
