I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media in December, 2021 from Florida State College at Jacksonville. I received my Associate's of Art in 2004 in Family and Consumer Science from Dixie State University. My early focused on early childhood development and family relations.

I have no formal teaching experience, but I do have a daughter with special needs who has required extra educational help outside of the classroom. I have worked as a camp counselor where I taught young children various art forms and sporting activities. I've held many management positions and was responsible for training employees. I absolutely love learning and believe that the best way to learn is to teach.

My favorite thing to do in my off-time is to reconnect with nature. The beach is my happy place, anywhere with water soothes my soul. Cooking and baking makes me happy. I enjoy music of many genres and like to sing. I love reading and art, anything with soul moves me.
