About Me
My name is Matthew Sinclair. I have successfully graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University at the top of my class and would love to help you in achieving the same. Outside of teaching, I love to engage in sports, arts, and music. I have many interests and dreams and I’m looking forward to assisting you in obtaining yours.
Education
In May 2021, I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a 3.94 GPA and a Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, and minors in psychology and philosophy.
Teaching Experience
At FGCU, I was an honors mentor for up to five students at a time. This involved meeting weekly with my mentees to provide guidance on their first year as college students. Furthermore, I have interned at the county courthouse as a course assistant. As a course assistant, I have assisted in the development of courthouse employee training courses by creating materials for them, such as videos, teaching plans, and quizzes. I’m addition, I have been involved as a founding member of Project Narrative, an organization that provides one-on-one mentoring with high school students in order to prepare them for college in ways such as providing my own college experiences or assisting them in writing college entrance essays.
Interests
Outside of work, I intern at the county courthouse, but also enjoy spending the remainder of my free time indulging in sports, nature, and arts.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
