About Me
Hi Everyone! My name is Melody, and I'm so excited to be working with you! I have been tutoring for quite some time, and I am here to help you succeed! I know learning can be challenging, frustrating, and sometimes even boring. However, my job is to make it engaging and provide support to you so that learning becomes exciting and fun!
Education
I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Women and Gender Studies in December 2023. I attended the University of South Florida in Tampa. This summer, I will begin pursuing a Master's certificate in Non-Profit management through USF.
Teaching Experience
I have many years of experience tutoring in a Learning center setting in two different Mathnasium locations. I have also worked as a private tutor through college, and I still do so now. I recently began substitute teaching and just took my FCTE exam to become a certified teacher for the next school year.
Interests
When I'm not at work, I spend a lot of time trying to get involved in the community, whether through volunteering, local events, or exploring public libraries. I love to read, explore, and learn new things, for the past year, I've been learning German.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
