About Me
I am a very fun person to be around. Every student learns in different way so I like to understand the students learning style and ensure I can accommodate his/her needs to be successful. I have tutored home-bound students before and each worked at different levels. I can work with students and maintain a positive environment for the student. I try my best to make learning fun despite the work involved so that the student learns better,
Education
I graduated with my PhD in Social Science Education from Florida State University. I received my doctorate in 2011 and have all my degrees from F.S.U.
Teaching Experience
I have over 24 years of teaching 6-12 social studies classes. I have also taught advanced placement courses and dual-enrolled social studies courses. I have tutored for 21st Century students after school program to help them achieve and succeed at their education.
Interests
When I am not working, I like to read, play with my dogs, or go to a family members house to visit.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
