I’m all about making learning fun & enjoyable. I like to incorporate video games with real life teaching experiences which creates engaging educational scenarios. I build computers in my spare time & love traveling, coming from a Nigerian background I am very fond of experiencing new cultures.
Education
During my 2 years at Sussex County Community College, I successfully obtained my Python certifications: PCEP: Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer PCAP: Certified Associate in Python Programming PCPP1: Certified Professional in Python Programming 1 This experience not only solidified my understanding of programming concepts but also lead to my current coding instructor position. I’m currently in the process of completing my Google Cybersecurity Certification.
Teaching Experience
Teaching/Tutor experience : As a Coding instructor , I play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding individuals through their coding journey. My primary responsibility is providing personalized, one-on-one as well as classroom guidance to aspiring programmers, helping them develop strong coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of programming concepts. I work with learners of various skill levels, tailoring to their unique needs and goals. With my python certifications I was granted the opportunity to tutor 1st year coders while on campus.
Interests
I spend most of my time computer building and game designing. Gardening is also a hobby of mine and participating in sports such as basketball & soccer leading for a balanced lifestyle with blending technical expertise with physical fitness.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
