About Me
I am a professor of Spanish with more than 15 years of teaching experience at college level. I love words and languages in general. I'm from Venezuela, where I studied journalism. I moved to the United States to get a PhD in Hispanic literature. I'm also a translator. I teach basic, intermediate and advanced Spanish, and also conversation, Spanish for business, and Spanish through literature, films and theater. Teaching, translating and writing I get to fulfill my love for words, and also I get to share my culture.
Education
I have a Bachelor Degree in Communications by the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, in Caracas, Venezuela. I also have a PhD in Contemporary Hispanic Literature by the University of Virginia.
Teaching Experience
I have more that 15 years of teaching experience. I taught basic, intermediate and advance Spanish classes while getting my PhD at the University of Virginia. Interests
I am the founder of Tallahassee Hispanic Theater, a group dedicated to bring Hispanic plays and culture to the community. I work as an actor and producer. I also do translations.
