Education
I graduated from Indiana University in 2020 with a BA in Communications Studies.
Teaching Experience
From September 2015 to May 2018, I was a part-time substitute teacher through Kelly Services. Most of my assignments were in middle schools. I also worked in elementary and high schools when necessary. From Feburary 2021 to January 2023, I was a tutor with the Huntington Learning Center. The beginning of my day was spent as a reading and language arts tutor for 3rd through 6th grade in an elementary school. For each grade level, I worked with two to three students at a time. I assisted students with various assignments given to them by Huntington, and I created engaging games to help students develp their reading skills. When I worked in the actual learning center, I tutored all grade levels (mostly 6th - 8th grade) with reading, language arts, basic math, and algebra.
Interests
When I am not tutoring/working, I enjoy playing video games, hiking, and relaxing at the beach.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
