About Me
I am so excited to be one of your partners in learning this year! I’m looking forward to meeting you all and working with you as we embark on this educational journey together.
Education
I attended Florida Gulf Coast University, graduating with my B.A. in political science with a minor in Medieval and Early Modern Studies in 2022 and my second B.A. in English with a minor in Anthropology in 2023. I am currently a doctoral student in the Politics & International Affairs PhD program at the University of South Florida.
Teaching Experience
In high school, I was a tutor for Spanish and biology students who may have needed remedial work or additional help to understand their material. At the undergraduate level, I served as a Learning Assistant in the Political Science department at Florida Gulf Coast University. At the graduate level, I serve as a Graduate Assistant in the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies at the University of South Florida.
Interests
When I’m not teaching, tutoring, or working, I enjoy gardening, cooking/baking, and creating artwork! I have a background in both 2D and 3D design and am a galleried artist. I have a number of plants that I take care of, and am currently growing hydroponic tomatoes. My favorite thing to cook is soup and my favorite things to bake are cupcakes.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
