About Me
My name is Kevin, but I go by Vin. I currently live in Florida, but I grew up in Alabama. I am excited to be a part of helping others to learn, and hope to be a part of your educational journey.
Education
I attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, and graduated in May of 2023. My major for my Bachelor's was in English, and my minor was in Sociology. After graduation, I pursued and obtained my TEFL certification, receiving it in November of 2023.
Teaching Experience
I have formal teaching experience from my TEFL certification program, and tutoring 8th grade Science and Biology at a local Charter school. I taught English online to students in Turkey. I had between 6-14 children from the age of 8 to the age of 18 in my classes. I have about three years of informal tutoring experience assisting students with English and Science.
Interests
I enjoy food, music, and playing video or board games with friends. On nicer days, you can find me at the pool or beach.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
