About Me
I try to break down math into easy to learn steps. I also try to make it relevant to the students interest.
Education
I attended Malone University in Ohio from 1993-1997 and graduated with a degree in secondary education with a concentration in math. I returned to school and attended the University of Akron in Ohio from 2012-2013. I graduated with my Master’s in Applied Mathematics.
Teaching Experience
I taught high school from 1997-1999. I also taught as an adjunct professor from 2001-2003 and 2010-2012. I was a graduated assistant from 2012-2013 which also included teaching students.
Interests
I love snorkeling and hiking. I’m currently working on my culinary skills trying to work my way through a Hawaiian cookbook. I also enjoy Big Ten football and F1 racing.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
