About Me
I am passionate about helping my pupils to succeed and enjoy the learning experience. I learn as much from them as they from me and that keeps me engaged and my attitude positive. It is my intent to pass that along.
Education
I studied Mathematics at San Francisco State University from 1992-2002. I received my BA and MA degrees from SFSU in 1996 and 2002.
Teaching Experience
I have extensive experience tutoring privately and for ClubZ in home tutoring and Tutor Matching Services. I have been teaching Calc I, II, and III as well as Math In Modern Society and Survey of Calculus for BSU since 2004 and at CWI since 2009.
Interests
I like to camp, fish, mountain bike, and jog. I have occasionally rock climbed in the past as well. I play chess for fun on my computer (Excalibur). I enjoy a good dinner out and a good book or movie to relax.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
