About Me
I have taught ESL for the past 4 years. My biggest passion is teaching English because I love to help people but I also love learning from people from different cultural backgrounds. Teaching English is a great way for me to build relationships between cultures and I plan on devoting my whole life to teaching. When I am not teaching, I love to hike, kayak, dance, sing, or volunteer at my church. I like to travel and explore places and things outside of my comfort zone. The world is too big for me to sit still in one place. A long-term goal of mine would be to figure out a way to teach so I can travel the world at the same time.
Education
I graduated from Johnson University in 2017 with a B.S. in Intercultural Studies and concentration in ESL.
Teaching Experience
I have both formal and informal teaching experience. I have taught adults ESL in person for about a year or 2 now in a classroom setting. I have also tutored ESL for a few years.
Interests
Teaching ESL is actually one of my biggest passions and I love tutoring in my spare time. I also love to dance and sing. I like to be outdoors and doing things such as hiking and kayaking. I am also very involved at my church and volunteer there.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
