About Me
I'm a college student at McNeese State University where I take and teach biology classes. While I have a scientific background, I'm also interested in any and all forms of creative self-expression such as writing or visual art. As a student and artist, I know as well as anyone that everyone sees things differently from one another. How I interpret a piece of art is different from how someone else will. The same is true for learning concepts. How one person learns something may be different from how another person needs to learn it. This doesn't make them unintelligent, they just need the information presented in a new way. It is my utmost interest to make sure each of my students has an equal chance to learn a concept, whether I need to simply rephrase the information, or present new examples. I like to make sure each student understands things in their own way. This is a mission I will carry into the tutoring room.
Education
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in biology and am pursuing a Master of Science degree in biology at Mcneese State University.
Teaching Experience
During my time as a grad student, I've taught biology labs as a TA. Multiple 101 (Biol Intro) labs and 226 (Anatomy and Phys.) labs.
Interests
When I'm not doing schoolwork, I'm editing my book manuscript to send to my editor. If I have an abundance of time, I'll play a video game or work on a puzzle of some sort.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
