About Me
Everything above plus I want the students I work with to know that I am available to them, and communication is key to making this a successful relationship. We will work through their challenges together and together we will figure out what type of assistance works best for them. I want to assure them that they are not alone in their academic journey.
Education
I hold an Ed. D from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Amherst, MA with a concentintion on Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies. Cross Cultural Study, Arts Integration, Qualitative Research. I graduated in 2012. Additionally, I hold an MFA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a concentration in clay. I graduated in 1996. My undergraduate work is from S.U.N.Y. New Paltz, in New Paltz New York where I earned a BS degree in Art Education
Teaching Experience
I have 30 years of teaching experience. I have taught studio art, art education, education, and qualitative research courses to undergraduate and graduate students.
Interests
I work as much as I can in my clay studio, I like to hike with my dogs and family members and I love to travel. I just recently entered into a Mindfulness Teacher Training Program which I am very excited about.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
