About Me
I am passionate about helping students of all ages and academic abilities accomplish their academic goals. I currently work as a molecular biologist, and love learning about all STEM subjects. I earned a Masters in Biochemistry, and love helping students understand biology, chemistry. I also am experienced at test prep, and can help you achieve your goals for the AP Exam and more! I am an avid runner and competed in NCAA DIII Cross Country & Track.
Education
I attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and earned a Bachelors of Science in Bioinformatics & Molecular Biology and a Masters of Science in Biochemistry & Biophysics.
Teaching Experience
I have 4+ years of formal tutoring experience. I started tutoring Chemistry I (college) and Intro to Cell Biology (college) in January 2018. I continued on to tutor Organic Chemistry I&II, and expanded my tutoring to local high school students in AP chemistry & AP Biology. Additionally, I tutored middle school English & Math. I also led small group prep sessions for AP Chemistry.
Interests
I am an avid runner and competed in NCAA DIII Cross and Track through out college, and was even team captain!
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
