My background in medical and surgical nursing prepared me for my 15 years of teaching experience. Most recently, I have been teaching Fundamentals of Nursing and Care of the Adult Patient and providing faculty tutoring for baccalaureate nursing students. I grew up in Peabody, but I have lived and worked in four states before returning to Massachusetts. I am an adult learner and I completed my BSN and MSN in Texas, and the PhD in Pennsylvania. I am very interested in student's approach to testing and strategies that can improve their application of theory to clinical practice and testing.
