I am a graduate of North Carolina State University. I studied in two colleges, Humanities and Education. My program was Spanish Language and Literature with education option. Graduation was with honors in May 2002.

Teaching in a school setting has been my career focus since graduation from formal teacher training. Work references include the last two years spent at Casa Esperanza Montessori in Wake Forest. I served students in lower elementary, upper elementary and middle grades predominantly in small group / one-on-one settings.

I spend a lot of time with my daughter and our pets. I love nature and when the weather's right, there's lots of walking, hiking, swimming, and gardening. Now, we're doing a bit of hibernating with good food, books, games, and movies.

I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
