About Me
I grew up in rural south Georgia, and I moved here last year to live closer to my long-term girlfriend. I have been working in education since I moved here, and I'm always excited to help children learn! I also like disc golf, Rubik's cubes, and computers.
Education
University of Georgia Major in Mathematics Graduated May of 2022
Teaching Experience
I informally tutored students in math all throughout high school, mostly calculus and geometry. From 2018-2021, I worked for the Rankin-Smith Center at UGA to tutor student athletes in their math courses, including math modeling, pre-calculus, and Calculus I & II. During this same time period, I would also occasionally help high school students with SAT/ACT preparation. This was one-on-one with about 6 students in total, who would come to me to review their practice tests with them.
Interests
I love playing disc golf with friends, biking, and rock climbing! I'm a big movie buff, and I'm a sucker for some reality TV. I also love reading, specifically math textbooks! I like to expand my knowledge as much as I can.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
