About Me
When explaining concepts, I am all about showing you how to connect concepts. This way, if you forget something, you will be able to reason your way back to remembering it! I pair this approach with a heavy emphasis on question and answer dialectic and the socratic method as much as possible.
Education
I attended Valencia College to obtain my Associates degree in Computer Science, and then I attended UCF and obtained a Bachelors' in Mathematics and then a Masters' in Mathematics.
Teaching Experience
I worked as a tutor in the Math Depot. at Valencia College, tutoring everything from developmental math to Calculus I, II, and III. I worked as a Supplemental instructor at UCF for Calculus III and Discrete Mathematics. Then, when in graduate school at UCF I was the instructor of record for Trigonometry, Calculus II, and Calculus III, aside from being a teaching assistant in Intermediate and College Algebra, and Pre-Calculus.
Interests
I do study mathematics on my own time for fun; formal logic, higher algebra, and category theory are my favorites. Outside of this, I enjoy reading (Philosophy and Literature), running, video games (horror and rpgs), and playing music (bass guitar)
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
