With over 7 years of experience as an Online and In-person Tutor and a graduate research assistant for a professor’s works, "Science Teacher Preparation in Content-Based Second Language Acquisition" by Alandeom W. Oliveira, I will step in and generate an immediate contribution to your math and science work. I find it rewarding to not only teach the academics but to also explain how and why we use them in the real world. Who would have thought Algebra and the Cartesian Plane for graphing is what we use to code mobile and computer applications?! Did you know that cybersecurity and hacking are done through algebra? Google Developers Group January 2016 – Present • Attend meetings such as boot camps, code labs, hackathons, and Dev Fest with a tech community to learn the technology used by Google. • Learned firsthand from Google Developers the technology used such as Android, Chrome, Drive, Google Cloud platforms, Google API’s including Cast, Maps, and YouTube. Kitten Angels August 2017- present • Adoption coordinator at PetSmart Niskayuna Latham, and Pet Supplies Plus Brunswick. • Participate in rescue missions. • Provide expert knowledge to care for fosters and newly adopted kittens and cats. • Foster and care for kittens with medical needs and disabilities. • Help run adoption events and fundraisers. • Assist manage adoption events. • Assist with managing petfinder.com. • Create trusting relationships with adopters and other volunteers.
