About Me
I am passionate about learning in general and history in particular, and my greatest professional joy comes from working with students.
Education
I have a BA and MA in History from the University of Central Oklahoma and a PhD in History from the University of Oklahoma.
Teaching Experience
I have taught for almost 30 years at the high school, community college, and university levels in a wide array of formats (day, night, online, eight week, sixteen week, etc.). My teaching areas are predominantly centered in US and Western European History, though I also teach and research/publish in military history. For the last ten years I have been chair of the Department of Social Sciences at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Interests
Reading, travelling, researching, and trying to find time to write. :-)
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
