About Me
I was a bar examiner for 7 years. I have tutored students preparing for the bar exam going on 4 years for major commercial bar preparation companies. I have revised and redrafted subject outlines for commercial bar prep companies. Additionally, I have been engaged by a law school as an adjunct for bar success for the past 2 July bar exams. I have also tutored numerous law school students in their law school studies, including all 1L subjects and many higher level subjects. I am very friendly and approachable, and I develop a rapport with students quickly. I discovered that teaching is my passion.
Education
I graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee with a Doctor of Jurisprudence (1996). I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from East Tennessee State University (1994).
Teaching Experience
I have tutored students preparing for the bar exam with AmeriBar, BarMax, Themis, BarBri, and privately utilizing a tutoring platform. I am an adjunct for bar success at a law school for the July 2022 and July 2023 bar exams. I was a bar examiner with the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners for 7 years. Additionally, I have substantially revised a real property outline, a California professional responsibility outline, and a corporations outline, and I redrafted in whole a California corporations outline for commercial bar preparation companies.
Interests
I cover motion hearings and other more freelance attorney work. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I am an avid reader of classical literature, mostly English Literature.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
