About Me
I love to learn and I want you to love learning too!
Education
I recently graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Honors Sciences in Humanities with minors in Spanish and Architecture.
Teaching Experience
Prior to working with Parliament Tutors, I tutored core subjects for college students with learning disabilities, where I became certified as a tutor through the College Reading and Learning Association. In this role, I found an authentic joy for serving students and was recognized as Tutor of the Month only two months after starting. I also worked as a teaching assistant for a college history course, where I taught supplemental class material and graded student essays with constructive feedback. I have also privately tutored middle school and high school students in math, English, and Spanish, as well as organizational and study skills.
Interests
When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy volunteering at the Graceworks food pantry, as well as reading, drawing, and hanging out with my dog Nacho.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
