About Me
I love math, but more importantly, I love teaching people new things and seeing students grow as independent learners. When I tutor, I endeavor to make it fun, practical, and engaging. I have experience tutoring a variety of learners. I strive to meet students where they are and help them reach their full potential. I'm also passionate about a growth mindset because it encourages students to persevere and see challenges as opportunities.
Education
I graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelor's in Mathematics Education in 2020 and a Master's of Education in Teaching and Learning in 2024.
Teaching Experience
I have taught high school math for three years, including one year in a public school and two years in a private Christian school. I also traveled for one year after college as a Math ACT/SAT team leader. I went to 60+ schools in the Southeastern US giving ACT and SAT math workshops. I started tutoring in high school and continued tutoring my peers throughout college and during my years as a teacher.
Interests
I enjoy doing hair, making jewelry, and decorating. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
