Education
I graduated summa cum laude from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN in December of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Spanish.
Teaching Experience
Tutoring experience: In high school, I tutored peers in math for tutoring hours for the National Honors Society. During one summer, I tutored a peer in a college-level American History. I have been a remote tutor since 2020: I tutored a freshman in high school in their course work for one year and have been tutoring a middle schooler in their course work for the past three years. After my first year of college, I was referred by my English professor to become a writing tutor for my university. In my last semester of college, I was the Psychology Departmental Assistant and tutored a professor's student in Research Methods and Data Analyses. Teaching experience: In the summer of 2023, I was a swim instructor for children ages 3-12 years old.
Interests
In addition to working and tutoring, I take online classes related to communication disorders/speech-language pathology. But, I love to spend time with friends, do yoga/exercise, travel, read, and try new things in my free time.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
