About Me
Hello! My name is Bailey and I am a math student just like you - I am getting my Masters in Statistics right now. I have several years of experience teaching math at the high school level in New York, but I moved back to Virginia this summer to be closer to my family. I really enjoy helping students to feel confident and successful about their math abilities, and I am always doing my best to make math fun and easy to understand.
Education
College of William & Mary Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics Received in May 2012 New York City College Masters of Education in Secondary Mathematics Received May 2013 Texas A&M University Masters in Applied Statistics Expected to graduate May 2022
Teaching Experience
I have 7 years of teaching experience in New York City, mostly at the high school level. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Honors & AP Calculus, and AP Statistics. I have also provided support for students with small-group instruction for Algebra I & II and Pre-Calculus.
Interests
Being a student! I decided to return to the (virtual) classroom this year and I am currently pursuing a masters degree in applied statistics. I also enjoy several craft hobbies such as sewing, quilting, knitting, cooking, etc.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
