About Me
I'm a passionate growth-minded instructor who firmly believes education is a marathon, not a sprint. I enjoy helping students achieve success, growing their skills and knowledge on their own terms. I like forming long-term, personal strategies with students, recognizing their individual values and learning styles on the path to excellence.
Education
In 2017, I completed my BA in Philosophy and Ethics at the University of Arizona with a minor in Middle Eastern and North African Studies. I went on to complete my MA in Philosophy in 2019 and a Master of Public Administration in 2021, also from the University of Arizona.
Teaching Experience
At the University of Arizona, I taught undergraduate courses in Philosophy including Logic & Critical Thinking and Personal Morality from August 2018 to Spring 2020. At the same time, I also taught an interdisciplinary upper-division Religious Studies course bridging Science and the Humanities titled the Psychology of Religion from August 2018 to Spring 2021.
Interests
When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I write novels, short stories, and poetry. I am also prone to reading good books, internet research rabbit holes, and (badly) playing video games with my family.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
