About Me
I retired from teaching in 2004 and worked in real estate for about ten years. In 2018, I moved to Costa Rica with my wife. WE have purchased a house in Williamsburg, and I look forward to teaching and learning about Virginia.
Education
I attended Cortland State University in Cortland, New York, and I graduated with a degree in teaching secondary English in 1971. I attended Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, and received a Master of Arts in Theater in 1981. In 1990, I attended Cortland State University and received a degree in school administration. I also hold a PhD in Education from Kennedy Western University where I graduated in 1991
Teaching Experience
I taught English 7-12 from 1971 to 1982. I also thought about theater arts and Public Speaking. I was a high school principal from 1992 to 2000, and I served as a school superintendent from 2000 to 2004. Currently, I tutor ESL students for Open English/Latin Hire, where I have worked for over two years. This is an online position.
Interests
I have many interests, including writing, gardening, old-time Fiddle music, and cooking. I have written and published short stories and novels. I enjoy teaching and hope to continue working with students of all ages.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
