I am a recent graduate at the University of Washington Seattle campus majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. My passion is to share the importance of science through mentorship and tutoring. I am currently a Research Fellow sponsored by the Washington Research Foundation and have worked in a research lab in the UW Biochemistry department for the past two years. In the research lab, not only do I conduct chemical/biochemical experiments, but I am also responsible for training incoming undergraduate researchers on basic research skill sets and understanding the material pertains to our research. I have worked as a part-time tutor sponsored by the Chemistry department for general and organic chemistry series for three quarters with students in need. This fall, I will start my graduate study in Biological Physics, Structure & Design Graduate Program at UW. My long-term goal is to acquire my Ph.D. degree and start teaching in Biochemical related field at universities.
