Education
After completing Grade 12 with 6 distinctions (top of the grade), I went on to become a full time BSc (Mathematics) student at the University of Pretoria. After two years, I enrolled as a part time distance BSc (Applied Mathematics & Decision Sciences) student at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in continuation of my bachelor's degree, to graduate in 2023 September.
Teaching Experience
To date, I possess almost 8 years experience in the tutoring/teaching of Mathematics. Included is the tutoring of both primary and high school learners at various education centers and a homeschool centre. I am currently (since January 2016) a part time Facilitator of the SA AP Mathematics course through the company AdMaths, which help learners to bridge the gap between school and university Mathematics. In 2017, I entered the E-Learning field as an Online Math Tutor for 2 USA companies. I had the privilege of tutoring hundreds of students worldwide, the majority being American, through the MathElf App. Students could access the MathElf App on an iPhone/iPad which included a whiteboard, audio and optional video. MathElf has since shut down operations in August 2018. My experience has equipped me to confidently and comfortably tutor all high school and first year university Mathematics.
Interests
At the core of my life is engaging in spiritual activities, and teaching/tutoring online enables me to do just that.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
